Governor Charles Soludo

Chukwuma Soludo, the incumbent governor of Anambra State and candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has been declared the winner of the Anambra governorship election. Soludo won in all 21 local government areas of the state, securing a total of 422,664 votes, according to unofficial results. His landslide victory is a testament to his strong performance and popularity among the people of Anambra State.
Soludo’s closest rival, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), garnered 99,445 votes, while other candidates trailed behind. The margin between Soludo and Ukachukwu is significant, with Soludo leading by over 323,000 votes. This victory is a clear indication of the confidence the people of Anambra State have in Soludo’s leadership and vision for the state.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Soludo the winner, citing his satisfaction of the constitutional requirements, having secured the highest number of votes and at least 25% of the votes in more than two-thirds of the state’s LGAs.
