GTCO Food and Drink Festival ranks among Africa’s largest food and beverage festivals.
The GTCO Food & Drink Festival is launching a special Holiday Edition, announced by Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc. The event will take place on December 20 and 21 at the GTCentre in Oniru, Lagos.
The festival, renowned as one of Africa’s largest food and drink events, launches a special Holiday Edition to extend its legacy. This vibrant showcase of the continent’s culinary brilliance will bring together families, entrepreneurs, and food lovers for a truly immersive festive celebration.
Speaking during a press briefing held yesterday, December 11, 2025, Segun Agbaje, Group Chief Executive Officer of GTCO Plc, drew attention to the festival’s evolving significance and its key function in promoting business development throughout the food and beverage industry.
The Holiday Edition reflects our commitment to creating joyful shared experiences while supporting SMEs across the food and beverage value chain. “The GTCO Food & Drink Festival has grown into a powerful platform for celebrating, promoting enterprise, creativity, and the richness of African cuisine.” Agbaje said.
In its eighth year, the festival offers more than 213 free stalls, creating a platform for small and medium-sized businesses to reach a vast audience. Additional attractions feature a secure children’s play area with holiday fun, a vibrant street-food hub celebrating local vendors, and live culinary shows.
The program will also feature live performances by two of Nigeria’s most renowned music artists, further amplifying the festive atmosphere.
GTCO welcomes everyone—families, food lovers, and global visitors—to experience the creativity, culture, and cuisine of Africa at this year’s landmark Holiday Edition.
