The 2025 Globe Soccer Awards were held in Dubai, and it was a night to remember for Lamine Yamal and Ousmane Dembele. Dembele took home the Best Men’s Player award, beating out tough competition from Lamine Yamal, Kylian Mbappe, Raphinha, and Vitinha. This win comes after Dembele’s impressive season with PSG, where he helped the team win six trophies, including the Champions League.
Lamine Yamal, on the other hand, won the Best Forward award, beating out Dembele, Mbappe, and Raphinha. The 18-year-old Barcelona winger also received the Maradona Award, solidifying his position as one of the brightest young stars in football.
Other notable winners at the awards include Aitana Bonmati, who was named Best Women’s Player for the third consecutive year. PSG dominated the club categories, winning Best Men’s Club, with Luis Enrique taking home the Best Coach award. Vitinha was named Best Midfielder, while Desire Doue won the Best Emerging Player award.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who attended the ceremony, was named Best Middle East Player, continuing his impressive streak. Portugal was named Best National Team, and Jorge Mendes won Best Agent for another year.
The Globe Soccer Awards recognize excellence in football, and this year’s winners are a testament to their hard work and dedication. The event was attended by several football stars and dignitaries, making it a memorable night for all involved.
