Nollywood actors Timini Egbuson and Dakore Egbuson-Akande have announced the passing of their father. The news was shared by Timini on Instagram, where he expressed his grief and gratitude for the love and support he’s received.
Timini, known for his roles in popular TV series like “Tinsel” and “Shuga”, as well as films like “Elevator Baby” and “A Tribe Called Judah”, took to social media to share the sad news. His post read, “Didn’t think I’ll start the year saying this… Rest in peace, Dad.
Dakore Egbuson-Akande, a renowned actress and Timini’s older sister, has also been flooded with condolences from fans and colleagues. The siblings grew up in a family of entertainers, with their mother Bridgette and father Samuel Egbuson supporting their artistic pursuits.
Timini has spoken about his privileged upbringing and how his mother’s departure from his father impacted his life. He experienced a significant change in lifestyle, moving from a comfortable life to living in the trenches of Ojuelegba with his mother.
The Egbuson family is known for their talent and contributions to Nollywood.
