The Board of Directors of Staco Insurance Plc has announced the appointment of Nike Nihinlola as Acting Managing Director of the company.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the company disclosed that the appointment received the approval of the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) following the passing of the former Managing Director, Wale Banmore.
Nike Nihinlola is a seasoned insurance professional with nearly three decades of extensive industry experience. A Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (FIIN), she is widely regarded for her strong leadership capabilities, having distinguished herself as an administrator, strategist, motivator, and mentor.
Her professional career spans several reputable insurance firms, including Consolidated Hallmark Insurance and Great Nigeria Insurance, among others. Prior to her new role, she served as Executive Director, Technical and Operations, at Staco Insurance Plc.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Ibadan and a Master of Business Administration from Lagos State University. Nike Nihinlola is an active member of the Mandatory Continuous Professional Development (MCPD) Committee of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) and previously served as Chairperson of the Accident Offices Committee of the Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA) between 2014 and 2016. She also currently serves as Vice President of the Professional Insurance Ladies Association (PILA).
She is married and blessed with three children.
