Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Davos, Switzerland, to lead Nigeria’s delegation at the 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF). He’s set to present Nigeria’s 2026 economic outlook to influential global leaders and participate in key sessions.
Shettima will focus on opportunities in Nigeria’s solid minerals, climate-sustainable agriculture, creative, and digital sectors. He’ll also engage with heads of state and business executives to strengthen partnerships aligned with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Nigeria is showcasing its investment potential at “Nigeria House Davos”, a dedicated sovereign pavilion. The event is expected to boost Nigeria’s global economic diplomacy and attract investments.
The Vice President’s visit is part of Nigeria’s efforts to diversify its economy and attract foreign investment. Key areas of focus include infrastructure development and technology.
Shettima’s delegation includes government officials and private sector leaders, all working to promote Nigeria’s economic interests. The World Economic Forum provides a platform for Nigeria to engage with global decision-makers.
