The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted a mix of sunshine, clouds, and thunderstorms across the country from Monday to Wednesday. According to NiMet’s weather outlook, the northern region will experience sunny and cloudy skies throughout the period, while the southern region will see cloudy skies with sunny intervals in the morning and chances of isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon.
In the southern region, states such as Anambra, Imo, Abia, Edo, Bayelsa, Delta, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, and Rivers are expected to experience isolated thunderstorms with light rain. The agency has also warned of dust particles in suspension over the North-Central region, advising people with asthma and other respiratory issues to take precautions .
On Tuesday, sunny and hazy skies are anticipated over the northern and central regions, while the southern region will see sunny skies with patches of clouds. There are chances of thunderstorms with light rains over parts of Ogun, Lagos, Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River states during the morning hours.

States such as Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Osun, Edo, Ekiti, Ondo, Imo, Abia, Anambra, Delta, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, and Rivers are expected to experience thunderstorms with light rains in the afternoon and evening.
