The India-AI Impact Summit 2026 is happening in New Delhi from February 16-20, and it’s going to be massive! Over 20 global leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron and Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, will attend, along with tech giants like Google’s Sundar Pichai, OpenAI’s Sam Altman, and NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang.
The summit’s theme is “Welfare for All, Happiness of All,” focusing on AI’s role in sustainable development, governance, and innovation. It’s a huge opportunity for global leaders to discuss AI’s potential to drive economic growth and improve lives.
The event will feature seven thematic working groups addressing AI skilling, social inclusion, safety, scientific research, sustainable computing, democratising access, and economic growth. With over 300 exhibitors from 30 countries, it’ll be a platform for discussing AI’s impact on healthcare, education, finance, and more.
The government will also release an AI Compendium showcasing case studies of AI applications across various sectors. This will provide valuable insights into how AI is being used to drive innovation and solve real-world problems.
Some notable attendees include Heads of State like Bhutan’s Tshering Tobgay, Croatia’s Andrej Plenkovic, and Estonia’s Alar Karis. Tech CEOs like Bill Gates, Demis Hassabis (Google DeepMind), and Cristiano Amon (Qualcomm) will also be there.
Indian business leaders like Mukesh Ambani (Reliance Industries), Natarajan Chandrasekaran (Tata Sons), and Nandan Nilekani (Infosys) will also attend. It’s going to be a star-studded event!
