Adron Homes and Properties has announced plans for the development of a Premium Estate in Ile-Ife, Osun State, as the real estate company strengthens its involvement in the 2026 Olojo Festival.
The company made the announcement during activities leading up to the 11th edition of the Olojo Festival, which is themed “Culture Preservation Through Sustainable Tourism.”
The festival is expected to bring together traditional rulers, government representatives, corporate organisations, cultural stakeholders, tourists and members of the media to celebrate the cultural heritage and historical significance of Ile-Ife.
Adron Homes was represented at the festival’s press conference by senior officials from its Western operations, including Deputy Managing Director, Western Super-Cluster, Ogundapo Odunola; Assistant Managing Director, Western Galaxy 1, Johnson Olugbenga; and Deputy Sales Manager, Livingspring World, Shobowale Taiwo.
Speaking at the event, the Director-General, Media, Branding and Corporate Communication, Adron Group, Seyi Oyekunle, who represented the Managing Director of Adron Homes and Properties, Adenike Ajobo, said the company’s participation reflects its belief that cultural preservation and sustainable development can complement each other.
Oyekunle said the theme of this year’s festival highlights the potential of culture and tourism to create opportunities in areas such as employment, investment, entrepreneurship and community development.
He described Olojo Festival as more than an annual cultural celebration, noting that it represents the connection between the history, present and future of Ile-Ife and its place in Yoruba civilisation.
According to him, Adron Group’s vision goes beyond conventional property development.
“At Adron Group, we are in the business of real estate, but our purpose is much bigger than the development of properties. We build homes. We build cities. We build communities,” he said.
A major highlight of the company’s participation was the unveiling of plans for the Premium Estate within the Ile-Ife domain.
Oyekunle expressed appreciation to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, for the confidence and approval granted to Adron Homes for the development.
He said the approval comes with a responsibility for the company to contribute to Ile-Ife’s development while respecting its historical and cultural heritage.
According to him, the proposed estate is expected to contribute to housing provision, attract investment, stimulate local businesses and strengthen connections between Ile-Ife and people of Ife and Yoruba heritage in Nigeria and the diaspora.
He also called for greater development of Ile-Ife as a year-round tourism destination, arguing that the city’s economic potential should extend beyond the annual Olojo Festival.
Oyekunle said sustainable tourism should create tangible opportunities for residents, particularly artisans, young people, entrepreneurs and operators in the hospitality sector.
He further encouraged young people to explore opportunities in culture and heritage-related sectors, including film, technology, fashion, music, arts and tourism.
Adron Homes has also been identified as one of the longstanding corporate sponsors of the Olojo Festival. The Ooni of Ife recently acknowledged the company alongside other major sponsors while unveiling partners for the 2026 edition.
The company’s involvement in the festival therefore combines its support for cultural preservation with its interest in real estate development and community growth in Ile-Ife.
The 2026 Olojo Festival is expected to further showcase Ile-Ife’s cultural heritage while creating opportunities for tourism, business and community engagement.
With the unveiling of its Premium Estate plan, Adron Homes said it is seeking to deepen its relationship with Ile-Ife and contribute to the city’s long-term development through real estate and broader community initiatives.
