Nigerian nightlife entertainer Fisayo Olagunju, popularly known as MC Fish, has reignited his public dispute with his estranged wife, actress Anita Joseph, making fresh allegations about their failed marriage.
In a series of posts shared on his Instagram Stories, MC Fish claimed he possesses screenshots and recorded conversations relating to what he described as Anita Joseph’s dealings with an unnamed “man of God.”
The entertainer also challenged claims surrounding the financial responsibilities in their former marriage, insisting that he contributed significantly to maintaining the lifestyle they enjoyed while they were together.
According to MC Fish, he took loans and entered into financial arrangements to sustain what he described as an expensive lifestyle during the marriage. He also disputed suggestions that he depended financially on the actress.
The latest social media outburst comes months after both parties publicly addressed the breakdown of their relationship.
MC Fish had previously said that infidelity on both sides contributed to the collapse of the marriage. In an earlier interview, he acknowledged his own role while alleging that Anita had also been unfaithful.
Anita had previously spoken about the circumstances surrounding the end of the marriage, with reports citing allegations of infidelity, domestic violence and substance abuse in her account of the relationship. MC Fish has disputed aspects of the narrative surrounding their marriage.
In his latest posts, the entertainer also made a controversial claim concerning the loss of a pregnancy during their relationship, attributing it to Anita’s use of waist trainers. The claim has not been independently established, and no medical evidence was presented alongside his allegation.
MC Fish further accused his estranged wife of attempting to influence public opinion against him through media reports, while maintaining that he had chosen not to disclose certain details of their relationship publicly.
The renewed dispute has attracted attention on social media as followers of both entertainers react to the allegations and counter-allegations surrounding their former marriage.
As of the time of reporting, Anita Joseph had not publicly responded to MC Fish’s latest allegations.
The former couple got married in 2020 before their relationship eventually broke down. MC Fish has previously said that he had moved out of their home months before the separation became public.
