The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has celebrated the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, on the occasion of his 50th birthday, describing him as a dependable partner whose commitment to leadership and public safety continues to contribute significantly to Lagos State’s security architecture.
Disu described Ogunsan as a man whose word carries the weight of a promise fulfilled, noting that his approach to leadership has strengthened collaboration within the security community and added value to efforts aimed at enhancing public safety across the state.
According to the IGP, Ogunsan demonstrates what he termed “360-degree leadership”—an approach that gives room for diverse opinions, promotes participation and ensures that those working with him feel genuinely carried along.
Disu noted that the combination of institutional responsibility and human consideration has become a defining feature of Ogunsan’s engagement with members of the security community.
Beyond his official responsibilities, the Inspector-General also commended Ogunsan for his concern for the welfare and dignity of people around him.
He praised the LSSTF chief for treating people with respect, avoiding an authoritarian approach to leadership and remaining accessible to those within his professional circle.
As Ogunsan marks his Golden Jubilee, IGP Disu offered prayers for greater accomplishments, good health and divine guidance in the years ahead.
“May his next year be better than everything he has seen. May Almighty God continue to be his guide, and may he go from wealth to wealth, and health to health,” the IGP said.
