JMG Limited has completed the installation and commissioning of a high-capacity Kaeser compressed air system for Mamuda, providing approximately 29 cubic metres of compressed air per minute to support its manufacturing operations and future production expansion.
The project was executed by JMG Industrial, the company’s specialised air compressor division, which designed and developed a new compressed air infrastructure tailored to Mamuda’s specific operational and production requirements.
Rather than focusing solely on equipment supply, JMG adopted a comprehensive systems-engineering approach, beginning with an assessment of Mamuda’s compressed air demand, operating pressure, air quality standards, storage capacity and projected production needs. The findings informed the design of an integrated solution intended to ensure a consistent, reliable and energy-efficient compressed air supply for the facility.
The installed system comprises two Kaeser CSD 90 compressors, one CSD 130 compressor, two TE 122 refrigeration dryers, a 2,000-litre air receiver tank, line filtration equipment and ECO-DRAIN condensate management components.
The three compressors collectively deliver approximately 29 cubic metres of compressed air per minute at an operating pressure of 8.5 bar. The configuration includes two 45kW compressors, each delivering 8.45m³/min, and a 75kW compressor with a delivery capacity of 12m³/min.
The refrigeration dryers, each rated at 16 bar and 12.5m³/min, are designed to help maintain the air quality required for Mamuda’s manufacturing processes.
Speaking on the successful completion of the project, JMG Limited’s Service Manager, Rao Preetham, confirmed that the system had undergone comprehensive commissioning and performance testing.
He said the Kaeser compressed air system had been successfully commissioned and had passed all final tests, expressing confidence that the installation would provide Mamuda with a dependable and efficient compressed air supply to power its production machinery and accommodate future operational demands.
The installation was completed on July 24, 2026, after which final commissioning and testing were conducted to verify system performance, pressure stability and operational readiness.
The project highlights JMG Industrial’s capacity to deliver end-to-end compressed air solutions for manufacturing and other industrial facilities. Its services cover technical assessments, system design, equipment selection, installation, commissioning and after-sales technical support.
As manufacturers increasingly depend on reliable utility infrastructure to sustain productivity, JMG’s approach focuses on delivering solutions that address customers’ immediate operational requirements while supporting their long-term growth objectives.
JMG Limited provides integrated power, industrial and electromechanical solutions to businesses and institutions across Nigeria. Its service portfolio includes diesel and gas power generation, solar energy, compressed air systems, electrical infrastructure, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, elevators and escalators, logistics and technical support.
