NiMet’s forecast indicates that the Northern Region can expect early morning thunderstorms with rain in states like Taraba, Adamawa, Kebbi, Borno, Yobe, Gombe, Bauchi, Sokoto, and Kaduna. Some areas may see sunny skies with cloud patches, but storms and moderate rainfall are likely to return by afternoon and evening.
In the Central Region, cloudy mornings will be followed by increasing chances of thunderstorms in states like Plateau, Nasarawa, Niger, Kogi, Benue, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The Southern Region can expect morning clouds, with potential rainfall in Akwa Ibom and Cross River. Moderate showers are forecasted for states like Ondo, Imo, Enugu, Anambra, Abia, Edo, Rivers, Delta, Bayelsa, and others.
