Victor Osimhen is set to join Galatasaray permanently from Napoli in a deal worth €75 million. The transfer includes potential performance-based add-ons and a 10% sell-on clause for any future transfer. Here’s what’s happening:
Galatasaray will pay Napoli €40 million upfront, with the remaining €35 million to be settled by the end of 2026. Napoli has also included an “anti-Serie A clause” in the deal, preventing Osimhen from joining any Italian club for the next two years.
Osimhen has reportedly signed a four-year contract with Galatasaray, worth €18 million per year. He turned down more lucrative offers from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal to join Galatasaray permanently.
Osimhen spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, scoring 37 goals in 41 appearances and helping the club win the Turkish Super Lig title and the Turkish Cup. He is expected to undergo medical tests and sign his contract soon.
Osimhen has arrived in Istanbul and is set to finalize his move to Galatasaray. The club is expected to host a grand unveiling ceremony for Osimhen during their home match against Lazio.
