Burna Boy made this declaration during an appearance on Complex’s The GOAT Talk alongside tennis legend Roger Federer, stating that his GOAT singers are mostly Fuji artists like Saheed Osupa. He wrote, “Burna Boy’s heartfelt tribute, naming me as his GOAT singer on a global stage, is a monumental moment that celebrates the soul of Fuji music and its timeless influence. This honour not only uplifts my journey but also shines a brilliant light on our rich cultural heritage, bridging generations and genres worldwide.” Osupa also praised Burna Boy as a true Afropop titan and expressed his gratitude for the artist’s genuine love and affection.
Osupa revealed his intention to attend one of Burna Boy’s upcoming concerts to appreciate his God-given talents and reciprocate the love. He concluded by affirming his commitment to preserving and elevating Fuji as a cornerstone of Africa’s vibrant musical legacy. “The journey continues, stronger and more radiant than ever! Oba Orin,” Osupa added.
