Tinubu in Lagos for Key Meetings Ahead of Independence Anniversary

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Lagos for a working visit ahead of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Day celebrations. This visit comes shortly after he attended the coronation ceremony of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, in Oyo State.
During his visit, President Tinubu will engage with prominent private sector leaders and top government officials to review key economic strategies and assess ongoing national initiatives. He is also scheduled to commission several infrastructure projects in Imo State on September 30, which have been completed by Governor Hope Uzodimma.
Furthermore, as part of the Independence anniversary celebrations, President Tinubu will formally unveil the newly renovated National Theatre, now rebranded as the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts. This visit showcases his commitment to national development and cultural heritage, highlighting his focus on promoting Nigeria’s creative industry and economic growth.
