JMG Limited, Nigeria’s leading integrated electromechanical solutions provider, has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting businesses with innovative and sustainable engineering solutions following the successful completion of three major projects across the healthcare, manufacturing and aviation sectors in the second quarter of 2026.
The projects, delivered through the company’s renewable energy, climate solutions and elevator divisions, highlight JMG’s continued drive to provide cutting-edge engineering services that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs and support sustainable business growth.
One of the key projects completed during the period was the design and installation of a hybrid solar power system by JMG Solar for St. Catherine Specialist Hospital in Wuse 2, Abuja. The project provides reliable electricity for critical healthcare operations while reducing the facility’s dependence on diesel-powered generators.
Since the system became operational, the hospital has achieved a 50 per cent reduction in diesel consumption, decreasing usage from about 2,000 litres to 1,000 litres monthly. The initiative has resulted in estimated savings of approximately ₦14 million on diesel expenses within four months, while monthly energy costs have reduced by about ₦2 million.
The solar solution is projected to generate more than 133 MWh of clean energy annually and prevent over 53,000 kilograms of carbon emissions each year, further supporting the hospital’s sustainability objectives.
In the manufacturing sector, JMG Clima, the company’s climate solutions division and authorised dealer of Trane in Nigeria, successfully upgraded the cooling infrastructure of the corporate facility of a leading Nigerian snacking company.
Following a detailed assessment of the facility’s requirements, JMG deployed a high-efficiency Trane HVAC system designed to enhance cooling performance, improve indoor air quality, strengthen operational reliability and optimise long-term maintenance efficiency.
JMG also expanded its footprint in the aviation sector through its elevator division, which completed the installation and maintenance support of 16 TK Elevator units at Victor Attah International Airport in Akwa Ibom State.
The project involved the installation of 12 elevators and four escalators aimed at improving passenger movement, accessibility and overall operational efficiency within the airport terminal. Following the successful delivery of the project, the client approved the installation of three additional units, increasing the total number of TK Elevator systems at the airport to 19.
