BetKing has successfully concluded the fifth edition of its flagship corporate social responsibility initiative, BetKing Cares, providing healthcare services, maternal support, nutritional assistance and relief materials to vulnerable communities across Lagos, Abia, Cross River and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The 2026 edition of the initiative, themed “Month of Good,” focused on supporting underserved communities, vulnerable families and expectant mothers through a combination of health interventions, food distribution programmes and employee-led volunteer activities.
As part of the campaign, BetKing provided prenatal care, essential medications, nutritional support, hygiene kits and health education to more than 500 pregnant women across the country, reinforcing the company’s commitment to improving maternal health outcomes.
The initiative also featured the distribution of food items, clothing and other relief materials to households in need, with employees actively participating in community outreach efforts to ensure effective delivery of support to beneficiaries.
Speaking on the programme, the Managing Director of KingMakers and Chief Executive Officer of BetKing, Gossy Ukanwoke, said the initiative reflects the company’s belief that corporate success should contribute positively to society.
“BetKing Cares represents our belief that business success must translate into meaningful social impact. As leaders, we have a responsibility to use our platforms not only to grow industries, but to uplift people. That is the kind of legacy we are building at BetKing; one rooted in access, dignity and sustainable community impact,” he said.
BetKing explained that the initiative has grown into an employee-driven platform, enabling staff members to actively contribute to community development while addressing critical social needs, particularly in healthcare, nutrition and welfare.
The company noted that BetKing Cares aligns with its commitment to responsible corporate citizenship by supporting programmes that improve access to essential healthcare services and provide assistance to communities facing social and economic challenges.
The fifth edition of BetKing Cares further underscores the organisation’s continued investment in sustainable community development, demonstrating its commitment to creating positive social impact through strategic partnerships, outreach programmes and employee volunteerism.
