Premier League club Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Israeli international Anan Khalaili from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise.
The 21-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the London club, keeping him at Selhurst Park until 2031, subject to international clearance.
Khalaili, who primarily operates on the right side but can also play as a full-back, becomes Crystal Palace’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
The move is reportedly worth around £21 million, although the exact transfer fee was not officially disclosed by the club. The deal has been described in Israeli media as a record transfer for an Israeli footballer.
The attacker joins Palace after two seasons with Union Saint-Gilloise, where he helped the Belgian club enjoy domestic success. He scored six goals during the 2025/26 campaign, including three in the UEFA Champions League.
Before moving to Belgium, Khalaili developed at Maccabi Haifa and made his senior breakthrough with the Israeli club. His performances earned him international recognition, and he has since made 16 appearances for the Israel national team.
The transfer comes after Khalaili’s proposed move to Inter Milan fell through following a medical examination. Palace subsequently completed their own assessment before finalising the deal.
Khalaili is expected to add further attacking versatility to Crystal Palace’s squad as the club prepares for the new season and its European campaign.
Speaking after completing the move, the young forward expressed his excitement about beginning a new chapter in the Premier League and his desire to contribute to Palace’s ambitions.
His arrival further strengthens a Crystal Palace squad undergoing significant changes ahead of the new campaign under manager Pierre Sage.
