The 2026 World Conference of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach is set to begin on Friday, August 21, at Zion City, the permanent site of the ministry in Mgbichi, Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State.
The three-day international crusade, which will run until Sunday, August 23, is expected to attract worshippers and participants from different parts of Nigeria and other countries.
According to a statement released by the ministry, the annual gathering will mark the conclusion of its 100 Days Fasting and Prayer programme, which commenced in May.
The World Conference is one of the major annual programmes of the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach and brings together worshippers, pilgrims, clergy, volunteers and other participants.
The ministry said the conference is expected to draw participants from across Africa, Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East, with hundreds of thousands of Zionites anticipated to attend.
The annual fasting and prayer programme provides members with an extended period of prayer, worship, biblical reflection, thanksgiving and fellowship before culminating in the World Conference.
The Spiritual Director of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, Evangelist Chukwuebuka Anozie Obi, said the crusade is expected to feature prayers, worship, salvation and testimonies.
The organisers said preparations have been intensified to ensure a smooth and orderly gathering, with worshippers expected to participate in various spiritual activities throughout the three-day programme.
The conference is also expected to provide an opportunity for members and visitors to fellowship, strengthen their faith and share testimonies as they come together for the annual gathering.
The ministry has encouraged participants travelling to Imo State to make adequate arrangements ahead of the programme and attend the various activities as scheduled.
The 2026 edition will be the third time the annual World Conference is being held outside Lagos, according to the ministry.
The three-day event is expected to conclude on Sunday, August 23, with worshippers and participants returning to their respective destinations after the programme.
