Fifteen housemates have been placed on the eviction list for Week 6 of the Big Brother Naija Season 11 reality show, following the latest nomination proceedings.
The housemates facing possible eviction are Chimsom Chuka, Flora, Aikou, Bells, Tram, Gerard, Oyin, Ricky, Barry, Temi Nkem, Araga, Yusuf, Nomy, Bluethopia and Keivo.
However, Week 6 Head of House Abi is safe from eviction after winning the Head of House challenge for the second time this season. Sheba is also immune after being named the Most Influential Player of the Week.
The Week 6 nomination process took an unexpected turn after Big Brother cancelled the housemates’ earlier saves following discussions and alleged conspiracies surrounding the nomination process.
As a result, the usual save mechanism was scrapped, leaving all housemates except Abi and Sheba vulnerable to possible eviction.
The week also marked a major development for Aikou and Flora, who had entered the competition as Gambits. Both housemates have now been released from their Gambit status and are eligible to compete for the grand prize, while also becoming subject to the normal eviction process.
Abi’s second Head of House victory gives her immunity from this week’s eviction and access to the Head of House privileges. She selected Temi Nkem as her Loft Mate.
The 15 nominated housemates will now depend on viewers’ votes to remain in the competition. The Week 6 eviction is scheduled to determine who will continue their journey in the “Show Ya Sef” season.
With the competition entering another decisive stage, the latest nomination twist has increased the stakes for the remaining housemates as they battle for survival and the grand prize.
