Zenith Bank Plc has opened its digital and branch channels to enable customers and other eligible investors to subscribe to the public offer of shares in Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals.
The bank said the subscription process is designed to provide investors with convenient and secure access to the offer through its established banking channels.
The Dangote Refinery share offer is expected to open on Monday, September 14, 2026, and run for 30 days, closing on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
The shares are being offered at ₦525 each, with a minimum subscription of 10 shares, translating to a minimum investment of ₦5,250. The offer is expected to raise about ₦2.15 trillion, making it one of the largest equity offerings in Africa.
Zenith Bank customers can participate by opening or funding their existing accounts and making payments through the bank’s electronic platforms. Investors may also access the offer through Zenith Bank branches.
The bank’s participation is part of the wider network of authorised channels approved for the Dangote Refinery public offer. Zenith Bank is among the commercial banks listed as an approved subscription channel for the transaction.
The offer is expected to broaden public participation in the ownership of the Dangote Refinery, one of Nigeria’s major industrial investments.
Prospective investors have, however, been advised to exercise caution and subscribe only through channels officially approved for the offer. Dangote Refinery has warned investors against using unauthorised platforms or intermediaries.
The development further highlights the growing role of digital banking and established financial institutions in expanding access to Nigeria’s capital market and enabling more investors to participate in major public offers.
