Fidelity Bank has introduced multiple digital and branch channels through which investors can subscribe to the Dangote Petroleum Refinery Initial Public Offering (IPO) in less than two minutes.
The options are available to existing Fidelity Bank customers, corporate organisations and non-customers in Nigeria and abroad.
Investors can subscribe through the Fidelity Bank iOS and Android mobile apps, corporate online banking platform, designated branches nationwide and a Virtual Account option provided for non-customers.
Under the Virtual Account arrangement, prospective investors without Fidelity Bank accounts can initiate their applications through the bank’s website, obtain dedicated account details and fund their subscriptions from an operational bank account without opening a Fidelity account.
The option also supports third-party-funded subscriptions, providing additional flexibility for investors participating in the offer.
Existing customers can subscribe through the mobile app, while corporate customers can use the bank’s online banking platform, subject to the required authorisation process.
Fidelity Bank said investors requiring assistance can visit its branches or contact Fidelity TrueServe through its designated customer service channels, where support is available to guide subscribers through the process.
Applicants are required to provide relevant identification and account details, which may include their Bank Verification Number (BVN) or National Identification Number (NIN), depending on the applicant’s circumstances.
Investors without a Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) account can also participate, with stockbroking accounts available through Fidelity Securities Limited to facilitate the electronic crediting of allotted shares.
Upon successful authorisation, the investor’s account or assigned Virtual Account will be funded as applicable, followed by confirmation of the transaction and issuance of a receipt.
Fidelity Bank said the initiative is aimed at widening access to Nigeria’s capital market through simple, inclusive and technology-driven subscription channels.
Prospective investors are advised to carefully review the approved Offer Prospectus for details on the offer price, eligibility requirements, minimum subscription, multiples, offer period and other applicable terms before investing.
