The Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, is set to share his expertise on security financing, stakeholder engagement and public-private partnerships at the forthcoming Agege Security Summit.
Ogunsan has been invited as a Guest Speaker at the summit, where he will speak on the theme, “Public Private Partnership in Community Security.” His presentation is expected to examine how government, businesses, community organisations and residents can work together to strengthen security at the grassroots.
The summit, hosted by the Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government, Hon. Vinod Obasa, will hold on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the Agege Local Government Hall, beginning at 10 a.m.
Ogunsan’s participation comes as the LSSTF continues to deepen partnerships with security agencies, communities and private-sector stakeholders across Lagos. His experience in mobilising support and strategic investments for security is expected to provide practical perspectives on the role of collaboration in addressing community safety challenges.
The Agege Security Summit is designed as a platform for government officials, security professionals, community leaders, businesses and residents to discuss issues affecting safety, security and sustainable development within the community.
Other speakers expected at the event include the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa; former Chairman of Orile-Agege LCDA, Hon. J.S. Babatunde; Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Fatai Tijani; ACP Saheed Egbeyemi; real estate investor, Abdullahi Saheed Mosadoluwa; Convener of the summit, Abdullahi Anikulapo; and the Chief Host, Hon. Vinod Obasa.
According to the organisers, Ogunsan’s leadership of the LSSTF and his experience in security-related strategic investments make him particularly suited to the discussion on public-private partnerships.
The organisers said his contribution would help stakeholders examine how sustained investment, information sharing, community participation and cooperation among different sectors can contribute to safer communities.
The summit is expected to provide an avenue for participants to exchange ideas and explore practical approaches to improving security in Agege through stronger collaboration among government institutions, security agencies, businesses and residents.
