A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dave Agwazim, has congratulated Olukayode Ezekiel Salako on his appointment to the Lagos State APC Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Salako is listed among members of the campaign structure unveiled by the Lagos State chapter of the APC as the party prepares for the forthcoming elections. He is named under the Contact and Mobilization Directorate of the campaign council.
In his congratulatory message, Agwazim described the appointment as a recognition of Salako’s contributions to the party and his involvement in political and community activities.
He expressed confidence that Salako would bring his experience and commitment to the responsibilities assigned to him, while urging him to remain focused on the objectives of the campaign council.
The Lagos APC campaign structure includes Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as chairman, with Deputy Governor Kadri Obafemi Hamzat serving as deputy chairman. The council also includes a broad range of party leaders and members across different directorates and sub-committees.
The Contact and Mobilization Directorate is responsible for engaging various groups and coordinating outreach as part of the party’s preparations for the 2027 elections. Salako’s inclusion places him among those assigned responsibilities within that structure.
Agwazim further wished Salako success in his new assignment, noting that the appointment comes with responsibilities that require dedication, effective engagement and cooperation with other members of the campaign team.
The development comes as political parties in Lagos and across Nigeria begin to organise their structures and mobilise supporters ahead of the 2027 general elections.
