Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma

The growing political dominance and widespread grassroots acceptance of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State is a direct outcome of Governor Hope Uzodimma’s strategic human capital development and empowerment initiatives.
This assessment was made by the Imo State APC Youth Leader and member of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Hon. Franklin Chukwuemeka Ibeh, during a gathering of APC youth leaders at his country home in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area.
Speaking on the party’s deep-rooted presence across the state, Ibeh highlighted that Governor Uzodimma’s administration has successfully bridged the gap between governance and the citizenry through impactful economic, infrastructural, and community-based interventions.
Illustrating the party’s current standing, Ibeh noted: “In a family of ten people, nine are APC members.”
He emphasized that by prioritizing youth development, local capacity building, and sustainable economic opportunities, the state government has fostered self-reliance and fostered genuine alignment between the electorate and the ruling party at the grassroots level.
Reflecting on the broader political landscape, the Youth Leader attributed much of the state’s developmental gains to Governor Uzodimma’s visionary decision to align Imo State with the national political grid.
According to Ibeh, playing mainstream national politics has yielded substantial dividends of democracy for the state, bringing federal attention and resources to key sectors across Imo. He noted that the citizens have increasingly come to appreciate the strategic advantages of this alignment.
Looking ahead to the next electoral cycle, Ibeh expressed strong confidence that the goodwill generated by the Uzodimma administration will yield decisive electoral success for the ruling party.
He projected that the APC would secure over 80 percent of the total votes cast in Imo State for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the upcoming presidential election set for January 16, 2027.
Reaffirming the commitment of the party’s youth wing, Ibeh stated that the people of Imo State remain eager to reward the APC at the polls by overwhelmingly supporting President Tinubu and all APC candidates across various elective positions in 2027.
