Rite Foods Limited, Nigeria’s leading food and beverage company, brought colour, excitement, and refreshment to the 2026 edition of the Ojude Oba Festival, reaffirming its commitment to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Ijebu-land.
Recognised as one of Nigeria’s most prominent cultural celebrations, the Ojude Oba Festival continues to unite generations of Ijebu sons and daughters, alongside friends and cultural enthusiasts from across the country and beyond. With a history spanning over a century, the festival remains a powerful symbol of identity, tradition, unity, and communal pride.
Rite Foods added vibrancy to this year’s celebration by showcasing its portfolio of award-winning brands, attracting large crowds to its pavilion throughout the event. Guests were treated to refreshing experiences with their favourite beverages and snacks while enjoying the rich cultural displays that define the festival.
Speaking on the company’s continued support, the Managing Director of Rite Foods Limited, Seleem Adegunwa, stated that the sponsorship reflects the organisation’s enduring dedication to celebrating and preserving the cultural values of the Ijebu people.

The 2026 edition, themed “Ojude Oba 2026: Celebrating the Legacy of Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona,” honoured the late Awujale of Ijebu-land, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona (GCON), in recognition of his outstanding leadership and enduring contributions to the development of Ijebu-land and Nigeria at large.
Also speaking, the Brand Manager of Fearless Energy Drink, Olaniyi Aderuku, noted that Rite Foods’ relationship with Ijebu-land extends beyond commercial engagement, rooted instead in shared values and community development.
“Our connection with Ijebu-land is built on shared values and mutual growth. We are committed to celebrating the identity of the people while contributing meaningfully to the preservation of their cultural heritage,” he said.

In his remarks, the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, commended the festival’s continued success and reaffirmed his administration’s support for its growth. He also praised the various Regberegbe groups and families of notable warlords whose participation continues to define the cultural richness of the celebration.
The governor further acknowledged corporate sponsors for their contributions to the festival’s success, as well as the Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, Barrister Hannatu Musa Musawa, for efforts aimed at advancing tourism development in Nigeria.
Describing Ojude Oba as a strong symbol of religious harmony, unity, and peaceful coexistence, Governor Abiodun noted that the festival has evolved into a major platform for tourism, economic development, cultural pride, and social inclusion.
He reiterated his administration’s commitment to policies and initiatives designed to expand economic opportunities for the people of Ijebu-land, while commending their resilience and dedication to preserving their cultural heritage for future generations.
