JMG Limited has commissioned an advanced hybrid solar power solution at its Victoria Island Branch in Lagos, marking another milestone in the company’s commitment to providing dependable, sustainable and cost-effective energy solutions for businesses across Nigeria.
The newly deployed system integrates 66kWp of high-efficiency solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity, an 80kW hybrid inverter system and 81.92kWh lithium battery storage, delivering a fully integrated energy platform designed to enhance power reliability and reduce reliance on diesel-generated electricity.
Developed through detailed load assessment using Fluke Load Analyzer technology and PV system simulation tools, the installation is projected to generate approximately 94.8MWh of clean energy annually, meeting about 80% of the branch’s electricity needs.
Beyond improving energy efficiency and operational reliability, the solar system is expected to eliminate approximately 28,000 litres of diesel consumption annually, resulting in estimated fuel savings of about ₦50 million per year while reducing carbon emissions by more than 37 tonnes.
The project features advanced renewable energy technologies, including LONGi solar modules, Deye hybrid inverters and Deye high-voltage lithium battery storage solutions, ensuring smart energy management, uninterrupted backup power and enhanced long-term performance.
