Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced another reduction in the ex-depot prices of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and Automotive Gas Oil (Diesel), in a move aimed at improving access to affordable and quality petroleum products in Nigeria.
Under the new pricing arrangement, the ex-depot price of PMS has been reduced from N1,215 to N1,165 per litre, representing a N50 reduction.
Similarly, the price of diesel has been cut from N1,650 to N1,570 per litre, translating to a reduction of N80 per litre.
The refinery said the latest price adjustment reflects its continued efforts to promote energy affordability, improve the availability of refined petroleum products and support economic activities across the country.
It added that it remains focused on maintaining a stable supply of petroleum products while leveraging operational efficiencies to deliver value to consumers, businesses and other stakeholders.
As Africa’s largest refinery, Dangote Petroleum Refinery continues to play a key role in Nigeria’s energy sector by strengthening domestic refining capacity, reducing dependence on imported petroleum products and contributing to the country’s energy security.
