JMG Limited has supplied an 850kVA FG Wilson generator to Nigerian cosmetics manufacturer Blue World Cosmetics to strengthen its power capacity and ensure more reliable electricity for its expanding production operations.
The project, completed in April 2026, was undertaken in response to the manufacturer’s growing energy needs as it expanded its production activities. The additional generating capacity is expected to help minimise disruptions caused by power outages and support efficient operations amid rising demand.
Blue World Cosmetics manufactures and markets a range of skincare, body-care and haircare products, including lotions, cleansers, soaps, body washes, hair creams, conditioners and powders.
Under the project, JMG delivered an FG Wilson P850 generator with a rated capacity of 850kVA to provide the company with a dependable power source for its manufacturing processes.
Improving Production Reliability
Reliable electricity is essential to cosmetics manufacturing, where equipment used for mixing, processing, filling, packaging and environmental control requires a consistent power supply.
Power interruptions can disrupt production schedules, affect product consistency and delay deliveries. The new generator is designed to provide additional power capacity, helping Blue World Cosmetics maintain production continuity and meet its growing operational demands.
Commenting on the project, Adamma Akpan, Area Sales Manager at JMG Limited, said the installation was aimed at meeting the manufacturer’s increasing energy requirements.
She explained that the 850kVA FG Wilson generator would provide a solid foundation for reliable production as the company’s manufacturing operations continued to expand.
The project was coordinated through JMG’s Gbagada branch, highlighting the company’s commitment to providing power solutions tailored to the evolving needs of Nigerian industries.
