Organised by the CIO & C-Suite Club Africa, the event is scheduled for October 27, 2026, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Victoria Island, under the awards theme, “Leading the Next Africa.”
The conference will focus on “Data Localization: Policy, Progress, and Prospects,” examining Nigeria’s evolving data governance policies, particularly their implications for financial institutions, technology providers and the wider digital economy.
Convener, Abiola Laseinde, said Africa’s digital transformation requires resilient infrastructure, intelligent enterprises and effective leadership capable of translating innovation into sustainable economic and societal benefits.
The conference will feature industry leaders, including Ayotunde Coker of Open Access Data Centres, Lola Egboh of Acedigital & Content Services, Blessing Ehize of FCMB and Dr Stanley Jacob of MeritSecureties Group.
The event will also feature the CIO & C-Suite Awards Africa, recognising outstanding business and technology leadership across 10 sectors, including financial services, e-commerce, health, agriculture, artificial intelligence, education, telecommunications, energy, media and technology services.
The awards will be assessed by an independent jury comprising experienced industry professionals, including representatives from HPE, Zenith Bank, ipNX and MTN Nigeria. Deloitte Nigeria and KPMG Nigeria have also provided technical and assurance support to previous editions.
Chairman of the Awards Project Team, Oluwakayode Adigun, said the seventh edition would strengthen collaboration among African business leaders while providing opportunities for networking, partnerships and discussions on the continent’s digital future.
Corporate partners supporting the initiative include FirstBank, MTN, FCMB, Bluechip Technologies, HPE and Interswitch.
