Okomu Oil Palm Company PLC is projected to achieve a record full-year profit of N52.96 billion in 2025, despite expecting weaker earnings in the second half of the year. The company’s strong performance in the first half of 2025 has positioned it for a record-breaking year, with revenue expected to reach N174.66 billion by the end of 2025, higher than the N130.21 billion recorded in 2024.
Okomu Oil’s revenue surged by 73% year-over-year to N129.834 billion in the first half of 2025, driven by higher crude palm oil prices and production volumes. The company’s gross profit margin improved to 62% in Q2 2025, reflecting efficient cost management and strong market demand. Earnings Per Share (EPS) grew by 135% year-over-year to N49.83 per share in the first half of 2025.
Although the company expects to post a combined net profit of N5.46 billion in the third and fourth quarters of 2025, significantly lower than the N47.5 billion profit recorded in the first half of the year, its overall performance for the year is still expected to be record-breaking. Total expenses are projected to reach N37.43 billion in the second half of 2025, potentially impacting profit margins.

The company’s strong operational performance and favorable market conditions have contributed to its success.
