The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Abbey Bank Plc, Mr. Mobolaji Adewumi, has charged graduating students of the Nigerian Military School (NMS), Zaria, to leverage the leadership skills, discipline and values acquired during their training to make meaningful contributions to society.
Adewumi gave the charge while delivering the keynote address at the 2026 Speech and Prize-Giving Ceremony of the Nigerian Military School, Zaria, with the theme: “Leveraging the Learning Environment in NMS: A Pathway for Achieving Your Future Aspirations.”
He emphasised that continuous learning, adaptability, and leading with integrity would remain critical tools for the graduates as they pursue their future ambitions and contribute to national development.
According to him, the discipline, resilience and leadership qualities instilled in the students at NMS are lifelong assets that extend beyond the walls of the institution.
“The values you have acquired at the Nigerian Military School are assets that will serve you throughout your personal and professional journeys. The challenge before you is to translate these values into lifelong success and meaningful impact in society,” Adewumi stated.
