The Big Brother Naija Season 11 game has entered a new phase following the emergence of Flora and Aikou as the season’s first Gambits.
The duo were unveiled during Sunday’s live show by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu after securing the highest number of votes from viewers, earning them a unique position in the ongoing reality show.
Introduced as a new twist for Season 11, the Gambit role guarantees the selected housemates a place in the Big Brother Naija House until the final day of the competition. However, while they will participate in tasks and other house activities, they will not be eligible to compete for the grand prize.
Sunday’s live show also brought an end to the Ladies-versus-Gentlemen format that characterised the opening weeks of the season. With the teams officially disbanded, all housemates will now compete individually as the race for the ultimate prize intensifies.
Biggie also announced this week’s wager challenge, titled “Game On”, which tasks housemates with defining the identity of Season 11. Through a creative showcase featuring a logo, slogan, song, artwork and other props, the housemates are expected to present their vision of what this season represents and how they want it to be remembered.
The latest development has added a fresh layer of strategy and excitement to the competition, as housemates must now adjust their gameplay and relationships without the protection or structure of team divisions.
