Fidelity Bank Plc is set to host the next edition of its Quarterly Business Forum on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, in Kano, bringing together entrepreneurs, business owners, industry leaders and other key stakeholders to explore strategies for business growth and sustainability across Northern Nigeria.
Themed “Positioning Northern Businesses for Growth,” the forum will examine emerging opportunities and trends shaping the region’s business environment. Discussions will focus on improving business operations, strengthening financial management, accessing finance, adopting digital solutions, expanding market opportunities and building sustainable enterprises.
The Kano edition follows the success of the previous Quarterly Business Forum in Port Harcourt, which provided entrepreneurs with practical business knowledge, industry connections and opportunities to support long-term growth.
Speaking ahead of the event, Divisional Head, Small and Medium-scale Enterprises Banking at Fidelity Bank, Ugochi Osinigwe, said the forum was created to provide businesses with relevant knowledge, connections and opportunities capable of improving their competitiveness.
She added that bringing the forum to Kano reflects the bank’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurs across the country, particularly businesses in Northern Nigeria.
The event will feature sessions led by industry experts and business leaders, while participants will have opportunities to network, exchange experiences and gain practical insights relevant to the current business environment.
The Quarterly Business Forum forms part of Fidelity Bank’s wider efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s small and medium-sized business sector. The bank recently received the Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) Service Ambassadors Award for the Highest Impact on MSMEs Accessing Credit for the First Time, recognising its efforts to expand financial inclusion and improve access to credit.
Through capacity-building programmes, tailored financial solutions, knowledge-sharing initiatives and business networks, Fidelity Bank continues to support entrepreneurs seeking to establish and expand sustainable businesses.
Fidelity Bank Plc is a full-service commercial deposit money bank serving more than 10 million customers through digital banking platforms and 255 business offices across Nigeria, as well as its United Kingdom subsidiary, FidBank UK Limited.
