SUNU Health Nigeria Limited has received the Healthcare Financing and Health Insurance Excellence Award at the Nigerian Professional Excellence Awards 2026, while its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr Moyosore Olomola, was named among the Top 100 Nigerian Professionals for 2026.
The awards were presented at a gala dinner held on October 3 at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos, bringing together industry leaders and professionals to celebrate achievements in innovation, leadership and Nigeria’s economic development.
SUNU Health, a member of the pan-African SUNU Group, was recognised for its contributions to expanding access to quality healthcare, promoting preventive health awareness, improving insurance inclusion and enhancing customer experience through digital solutions.
Olomola’s recognition among the Top 100 Nigerian Professionals highlights his leadership, commitment to corporate governance and contributions to advancing sustainable healthcare financing in the country.
Reacting to the recognition, Olomola said the awards would encourage the organisation to continue improving healthcare delivery and expanding access to quality services.
He attributed the achievement to the collective efforts of the company’s workforce and the continued trust of its clients, enrollees, healthcare providers and business partners.
According to him, SUNU Health would remain focused on delivering innovative, customer-centred solutions while supporting efforts to make healthcare financing more accessible across Nigeria.
