Adron Homes and Properties Limited has inaugurated new executives of the Adron Homes Property Owners and Residents Association (AHPORA) for the Uptown and Downtown zones of Treasure Park and Gardens Phase 2 Extension in Simawa, Ogun State, with a call for unity, accountability and collective responsibility in estate development.
The inauguration ceremony, held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Downtown Estate, Simawa, was aimed at strengthening engagement between the property developer and residents while providing homeowners with a platform to communicate their concerns and contribute to decisions affecting their community.
The event was attended by traditional rulers, community representatives and residents, with the Odemo of Isara Remo, HRH Oba Peter Oluwole Ogunbayo (Otete III), serving as the Royal Father of the Day.
In the Uptown Zone, Mrs. Augustina Chuks was inaugurated as Chairman, while Mrs. Ogunba-Ojo Hutawa Aderonke emerged as Secretary-General. Hon. Mrs. Wale Fayemi and Mr. Lateef Eniola were represented at the ceremony by their daughter and wife, respectively.
For the Downtown Zone, Alhaji Akeem Segun Koletowo was inaugurated as Chairman, with Mr. Alex O. Ohanwadi appointed Secretary-General.
Speaking at the event, the Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer of Adron Group, Sir Aare Adetola Emmanuel King KOF, described the inauguration as an important milestone in the estate’s development.
He noted that residents had transformed what was once unoccupied land into a growing neighbourhood, stressing that the long-term success of any estate depended not only on the developer’s efforts but also on the commitment and participation of its residents.
According to him, property owners must actively contribute to building a peaceful, organised and sustainable community rather than remain passive participants in its development.
He charged the newly inaugurated executives to prioritise the interests of residents, promote constructive dialogue and handle disagreements responsibly while maintaining cordial relationships within the estate.
The Adron Group chairman also emphasised that the reputation, peace and orderliness of a residential community could influence the value of property investments, urging residents to take collective ownership of their environment.
He expressed hope that the new executives would make a lasting impact through responsible leadership and leave the estate in a better condition for their successors.
Also speaking, the Managing Director of Adron Homes, Mrs. Adenike Ajobo, acknowledged the challenges the company had encountered in the course of its growth, describing them as part of the process of building a stronger organisation.
She called on homeowners, property investors and residents to unite under AHPORA, noting that collaboration between residents and estate management was essential to achieving shared development goals.
Ajobo encouraged residents to work together through the association to address community concerns and contribute to the continued growth of their estate.
The newly inaugurated executives are expected to serve as a bridge between residents and Adron Homes by communicating homeowners’ concerns, following up on estate-related issues and promoting accountability in matters affecting the community.
The ceremony also recognised the contributions of two homeowners who requested anonymity for their support towards security and maintenance at the estate.
The homeowners donated a motorcycle and security equipment to assist estate security personnel with mobility and patrol operations. They also contributed to the painting of the estate’s gate post and provided food supplies and additional security equipment for the security team.
Their contributions highlighted the importance of residents’ participation in supporting security operations and maintaining shared facilities within the estate.
The inauguration underscores the role of community-based leadership in promoting cooperation, protecting property owners’ interests and fostering a peaceful residential environment.
With the new executives taking responsibility for the Uptown and Downtown zones, attention will now focus on how effectively the association strengthens communication, addresses residents’ concerns and supports the sustainable development of Treasure Park and Gardens Phase 2 Extension.
