The Zamfara State Government has released the first batch of successful applicants in its recruitment exercise for nurses and midwives under the State Hospital Services Management Board.
The Zamfara State Information Technology Development Agency (ZITDA), which announced the release, said the successful candidates were selected following a screening, verification and assessment process conducted in line with the approved recruitment guidelines.
According to the agency, Governor Dauda Lawal approved the recruitment after being satisfied with the eligibility, transparency and due process followed during the selection exercise.
Applicants who participated in the recruitment have been advised to check their application status through the official Zamfara State recruitment portal using their email address, phone number or application ID.
The state’s official recruitment portal confirms that the exercise was designed to recruit qualified health professionals, including nurses and midwives, for healthcare institutions across Zamfara State.
Successful applicants were congratulated and urged to regard their appointments as both an opportunity and a responsibility. ZITDA encouraged them to demonstrate professionalism, integrity, diligence and commitment in serving residents of the state.
Applicants whose names were not included in the first batch have also been advised not to be discouraged, as the recruitment process remains ongoing and further updates are expected.
The agency urged all applicants to continue monitoring the official recruitment portal for subsequent announcements and to rely only on communications from the relevant government authorities.
The recruitment exercise is part of the Zamfara State Government’s efforts to strengthen its healthcare workforce and improve the delivery of health services across the state.
The official recruitment portal indicates that the recruitment process covers qualified nurses and midwives for positions across relevant healthcare institutions, subject to the stipulated professional and documentation requirements.
