The Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, has congratulated the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, on his 62nd birthday, describing him as a dependable and committed public servant whose contributions to the development of Lagos State have been significant.
In a congratulatory message marking Hamzat’s birthday, Ogunsan commended the Deputy Governor’s dedication to public service, political stability and the development of Lagos State.
He also acknowledged Hamzat’s loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the people of Lagos, describing the quality as a reflection of his commitment to public responsibilities.

In May 2026, Hamzat emerged as the APC candidate for the 2027 Lagos State governorship election after winning the party’s governorship primary.
Ogunsan described Hamzat as “a great party leader, a faithful servant and a leader whose loyalty is matched by competence, humility and dedication.”
He also commended the working relationship between Hamzat and Governor Sanwo-Olu, noting that their collaboration has contributed to continuity in the administration of the state.
“Your Excellency, your life reflects service, loyalty and commitment to the greater good. On behalf of my family, the management and staff of the LSSTF, I wish you renewed strength, sound health, wisdom and many more years of impactful service,” Ogunsan said.
