Rite Foods Limited has been named Best Food and Beverage Brand in Nigeria 2026 at the Global Brand Awards held in Dubai on October 2, 2026, in recognition of its commitment to product innovation, manufacturing excellence and consumer satisfaction.
Organised by UK-based Global Brands Magazine, the awards celebrate brands that demonstrate excellence in innovation, market performance, brand development, product quality and consumer engagement.
The latest recognition reinforces Rite Foods’ growing reputation in Nigeria’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, highlighting its sustained investment in product development, advanced manufacturing technology and initiatives aimed at delivering value to consumers.
The company boasts a diverse portfolio of products across several beverage and food categories. Its offerings include 13 variants of Bigi Carbonated Soft Drinks, Bigi Table Water, Sosa Fruit Drink in five flavours, Fearless Energy Drink in Classic and Red Berry variants, Rite Spicy Sausage Roll, Bigi Beef Sausage Roll, Bigi Flex Sausage Roll and its recently introduced LIDA Malt.
These products are manufactured at the company’s fully automated production facility, which is equipped with advanced technology and infrastructure to support quality and operational efficiency.
The award also adds to the industry recognition received by Rite Foods’ Managing Director, Mr. Seleem Adegunwa, who was named Industrialist of the Year 2025 by Vanguard Media Limited for his leadership, entrepreneurial achievements and contributions to Nigeria’s FMCG industry.
Commenting on the recognition, Adegunwa said the awards reaffirmed the company’s determination to build Nigerian brands capable of competing successfully in international markets.
He noted that Rite Foods remained committed to innovation, quality and consumer satisfaction while continually improving its manufacturing standards, brand experience and market relevance.
Adegunwa also acknowledged the contributions of the company’s employees, business partners and loyal consumers, describing their dedication and continued support as important to the organisation’s achievements.
According to him, the company’s success demonstrates the capacity of indigenous Nigerian businesses to thrive in an increasingly competitive marketplace by prioritising excellence, innovation and long-term value creation.
Over the years, Rite Foods has introduced several products and consumer engagement initiatives aimed at strengthening its position in the market. Its flagship Bigi brand has established a significant presence in Nigeria’s carbonated soft drinks segment, while Fearless Energy Drink introduced packaged energy drinks in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles to the Nigerian market, helping to broaden convenience and accessibility for consumers.
Beyond its commercial operations, the company has supported initiatives focused on youth empowerment, community development, entertainment partnerships, sports development and other consumer-centred engagements.
With the latest international recognition, Rite Foods is reaffirming its focus on expanding its product portfolio, improving consumer experiences and demonstrating the competitiveness of Nigerian manufacturing and indigenous brands in the global marketplace.
