The Emir of Gusau, Dr. Ibrahim Bello, has passed away at the age of 71 after a prolonged illness at a medical facility in Abuja. Born in 1954, Dr. Bello was appointed the 15th Emir of Gusau on March 16, 2015, by former Governor Abdulaziz Yari, following the death of his brother, Alhaji Muhammad Kabiru Danbaba.
